Obituary of Michael Galen Anderson

Michael G. Anderson Mike Anderson, 67 of Searsmont, Maine and Wesley Chapel Florida, passed away September 9, 2020 at home peacefully with his family by his side. Born March 9, 1953 in Island Falls Maine, son of John and Madeline (Ireland) Anderson. Mike graduated from Mt. View high school and worked for Northeast Equipment & Supply at the beginning of his career, he also worked for Larrabee Brothers plumbing then became a self-employed plumber for the remainder of his working years. He and his wife Kathy enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and saw much of the USA before settling seasonally in Wesley Chapel Florida. Survived by his wife of 47 years Kathy McGray Anderson, two daughters Heidi Anderson Blood of Searsmont, Holly Anderson and significant other Ralph Jackson of Searsmont, grandchildren Kirsten Caswell of Searsmont Maine and Orlando Florida, Christopher Caswell and his wife Hannah and great-grand children Tucker and Paisley of Searsmont. Three brothers and their families Paul and Anna of Rome, Billy and Katherine of Prospect, Robert and Joanne of Florida. As well as his favorite sister and brother in law Cindy and Jeff Ludden of Jackson. He had a special bond with his nephew Troy McGray, his wife Kelly and their son Brody. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother John Gary, and nephew Johnny of Island Falls. It was Mikes wish that no funeral services be held, a private burial will be held at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery in Searsmont.
