Obituary of Thelma A. Rolerson

BELFAST Thelma A. Rolerson, 98, passed away at home, June 6, 2020. She was born September 18, 1921 to Dana and Hazel Achorn of Morrill. Thelma graduated from Crosby High School and went to beauty school in Bangor. She was employed at Marion Myers Beauty Shop and later Mathews Bros. She was a lifetime member of Honesty Grange, Penobscot Grange and Maine State Grange as well as VFW #3108 and the American Legion. Thelma is survived by her daughter, JoDelle Rolerson of Belfast, son, Clyde Rolerson (Linda) of Thorndike; grandchildren, Michele Leach (Douglas), Michael Rolerson (Missy), Dana Downs (Vicki), Wendy Trafton (Jeff), Heidi Bartels (Dennis), Scott Cunningham (Sheala); several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large extended family. At Thelma’s request, there will be no services. Internment will be at Morrill Cemetery and announced at a later date.
