Obituary of Rosalie Ellen Rankin

Rosalie Ellen Rankin Hampden - Rosalie Ellen Rankin, 70 years, of Hampden, ME, passed away Tuesday January 7, 2020, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. She was born Tuesday October 18, 1949 in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of the late Carl and Eleanor (Harvey) Rankin. Rosalie graduated from Bangor High School class of 1968. She went on to work in the automotive industry for many years and then as a personal care assistant both of which she enjoyed very much. Rosalie was an active part of Faith Temple Church of God in Belfast and Harbor Light Church in Rockland more recently. Survivors include brother Ronald Rankin Sr. and wife Joyce of Hampden; nephews Ronald Jr, and Carl, and niece Holly; close friends Lorraine, Cindee, and Beverley; and many other special church family and friends. Friends may call from 4:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, Jan 11, 2020 at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast where a funeral will follow at 5:00 PM. A spring interment at Mt. Solitude will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Harbor Light Church 78 South Main Street Rockland, Me. or Neally's Corner Church in Hampden.
