Obituary of Christine E. Grant

Brooks - Christine Elizabeth Grant, 96 years, of Brooks, ME, passed away Thursday November 7, 2019 at Oak Grove in Waterville. She was born Saturday December 9, 1922 in , Brooks, Maine, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude (York) Hanson. She enjoyed singing and playing her guitar. She enjoyed going on rides with Paul, (her late husband) to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her Pepsi with crackers and suckers too! She is predeceased by 2 children, Jean Walsh and Cheryl Grant and her husband Paul Grant of 45 years. She is survived by her 3 children, Sandra Espling of Ashland, Me. Dennis Suitor of Merrill, Maine and Naomi Baker of Connecticut. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom all loved their “Gramzie” and “Gram” dearly. She especially loved her family, Her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was very thankful for her grandson Mike Grant Jr. and wife Shannon for their many years of care. An informal gathering at the graveside will be held at 1 pm on Saturday November 16, 2019 at Kinney Cemetery in Brooks and all are welcome.
