Obituary of Ronald M. Mitchell

Ronald M. Mitchell Sr., 81 of Belfast, passed away October 17, 2019. Ronald was born on March 23, 1938 to the late Carl and Ella Mitchell and was raised in Carmel. Music was his passion. Ronald loved to play guitar and played in several bands. He loved to sing and jam; writing a song to his loving wife, Joyce. He especially loved family gatherings at the family trailer and was an avid fisherman. Ronald will be always loved and missed by his family. Ronald is predeceased by his parents; his daughter Shirley Mitchell, his brothers Raymond Mitchell and Sonny Mitchell and his sisters Alice Voisine, Mary Stover, Arlene Mitchell, Helen Mitchell and Leona Rezzoli. Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce Mitchell of Belfast; his children Patricia Robinson of Florida, Frances Mitchell of Knox, Leona Mitchell and husband Brett of Morrill, Nancy Robinson and husband David of Belfast, Ronald Mitchell and wife Rosamond of Belfast, Evelyn Moulton and husband David of Belfast, Gary Mitchell and wife Daisy of Florida and Jeanne Holmes of Florida, Skip Furbush of Nebraska, Mark Furbush and wife Stephanie of Fairfield, Lauri Jewett of Belfast; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
