BRUCE A. SIMMONS, 47 of Belfast, died January 13, 2009 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born November 16, 1961 in Augusta, Georgia, son of Allen and Lorraine "Sharon" Simmons. Bruce enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Kyle. Bruce is survived by two sons, Kevin Simmons and Chris Simmons, both of Belfast; a daughter Erin Simmons of Belmont; two brothers, John Simmons of Florida; Tim Simmons of Belmont; a sister Ellen Sawyer of Belfast; one grandson, Hunter Simmons; several nieces, nephews and special friend Jill Fitzgerald. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
