Obituary of Sharon A. Lane
SHARON A. LANE, 62 of Searsport, loving wife of Beverly Lane of 39 years, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ unexpectedly on January 19, 2009 at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast. She was born in Old Town on April 1, 1946, the daughter of Lawrence and Ethel (Loring) Coffin. Sharon was a member of Unity Pentecostal Church. She worked in local restaurants most of her lifetime. She enjoyed picnics, the outdoors and spending time with her family at the beach.
Sharon was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Porter. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Cindy Madden and husband Dwayne of Greenbush, Laurie Todd and husband James of Belfast, Dawn Ward and husband Dan of Swanville, Alton Lane of Swanville; step-son, Delis Lane of Bangor; two brothers, Wayne Herbert of Florida and Joseph Herbert of Orrington; two sisters, Nancy Tyler and Bonnie-Jo Herbert, both of Brewer; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Family and friends are invited to call from 1-3 p.m. Friday, January 23rd at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 24th.
