Augusta WAYNE BARTLETT SWAN, 73, died March 14, 2009 at his residence in Augusta. He was born in Dixfield on April 25, 1935, son of Bartlett and Dorothy Swan. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving for 20 years. He loved riding his motorcycle, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and travelling. In semi-retirement, he worked for Home Depot and America West Airlines in Las Vegas, Nevada and Augusta, Maine. Wayne was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife of 35 years, Stephanie A. Swan of Augusta; his children, Sandra J. Eslicker, Sonya J. Fuller, Randall B. Swan, Stephanie J. Esquivias, David W. Swan, Patrick R. Swan, Jonathan M. Swan, Brent J. Swan, Sara R. Swan; brother, Douglas G. Swan; his wife’s family, Teresa M. Dvorak, Rosemary Nirsch, Joseph L. Lyons, Timothy J. Lyons, Daniel J. Lyons, Sean G. Lyons, Nancy E. Whitmer; 13 grandchildren; five nieces and eight nephews.
