Obituary of Frances A. Thompson

FRANCES A. THOMPSON, 85, died June 19, 2009 at a Bangor Hospital. She was born in Morrill May 5, 1924, the daughter of Milan and Elnora (Place) Weymouth. She loved raising her family and keeping her home. She raised many other area children and cared for the elderly in her later years. Frances enjoyed music and taking pictures for her pictoral records. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 54 years, Ivan and her brother Harold. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Smith and Nancy Hannington, both of Morrill; Rita Littlefield of Belmont; a sister Ruth Thomas, and a brother Merl Weymouth, both of Morrill; a special brother in law Edgar Thomas and niece Gail; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Avenue Belfast on Monday June 22, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday June 23 at the Morrill Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Peterson Officiating.
