Obituary of Richard D. Annis

RICHARD D. ANNIS, 63, died unexpectedly at his residence in Unity on August 8, 2009. He was born September 29, 1945 in Worcester, MA, son of Parker and Martha (Gray) Annis. He was a legalman during his career in the U.S. Navy. He loved being at sea, boating and fishing and enjoyed watching Star Trek with his grandkids or anyone who could watch it quietly. He is predeceased by his mother, father and step-father, Edward Cosway Sr. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Jean Annis of Unity; his daughter, Caryn Pierce and husband Ronald Jr. of Webster, MA; son, Richard Annis Jr. and wife Lynn of North Grosvenordale, CT; three brothers, Ronald Annis and wife Norma of Sutton, MA, John Annis of Monroe, Maine, Edward Cosway Jr. and wife Debbie of Oxford, MA; six grandchildren, Zachary Pierce, Zoe Pierce, Zayne Pierce, Jared Annis, Kendra Annis and Taylor Annis; many loved in-laws.
