She volunteered for trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic with the Hancock County Medical Mission. She was a Eucharistic Minister, often administering holy communion to the sick and shut-ins. She also made several pilgrimages to the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré in Quebec. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Ellsworth, Maine at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran's name may be made to Saint Joseph's Catholic Church or to the coffee fund at Dunkin' Donuts, both in Ellsworth. If you're waiting for your next paycheck and could use a free cup of coffee, stop in at Dunkin' Donuts and tell them it's on Fran. Or, if you already know where your next check's coming from, pay it forward and contribute to the fund.To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Frances Carr, please visit our Tree Store
