ALVERNON HOLLAND, 77, passed away March 7, 2010 in Bangor. He was born in Stonington February 17, 1932, son of James and Daisy (Stockbridge) Holland. He was a life-long fisherman. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Olive Holland of Stonington; his daughter Ann Wardwell and her companion Gordon Lanpher of Orland; brother Corliss Holland of Belfast; Two grandchildren, James Gray and his son Tyler of Bangor; Brandy Dumas and husband John and their daughter Abby of Beverly, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the spring.
