Charlotte Masessa Obituary

CHARLOTTE M. MASESSA, 88 of Montville, died May 6, 2010 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in North Adams, Massachusetts August 18, 1921, the daughter of Kenneth and Norine (Cunningham) Scott. She was very active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in New York. Charlotte loved music, dancing and going for rides, but the most important thing in her life was her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Silvis Masessa and two sisters. Charlotte is survived by her son and his wife, Daniel and Margaret Masessa of Montville; her daughter and son-in-law, Norine and Daniel Eckardt of New York; seven grandchildren, Cheryl, Danielle, Melissa, Thomas, Jennifer, Kristin and Brittany; one great-grandson, Edward; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast on Saturday, May 8th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Interment will be Monday, May 10, 2 p.m. at Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, New York.
