Obituary of June K. Warnock

JUNE K WARNOCK, 81 of Cherryfield, passed away after a recent diagnosis of lung cancer peacefully surrounded by her family at an Ellsworth Hospital May 11. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years Robert S. Warnock and grandson Robert “Bobby” Baker; her parents, James and Georgina Murray, her sisters Betty and husband Eion Douglas, Margie Smutek. She leaves behind her daughter, Sue Chandler and her daughter Kelly Thurlow, great-grandson Phillip Burgin and his companion, Leanne; son Steven and wife Debbie Warnock, his daughter Jodi Warnock and companion Jeff, great grandson Travis Cote; grandchildren, Jen and companion Jim; Jamie, his wife and children Sam and Jack; her special bird “Snowflake”; nieces and nephews, Robin Douglas and fiance Wayne Smith, Betty Raulerson and sons Stephen, Bobby Maguire and children, Ed Wheatley, Nancy Ring, Janet Puglisi, Ronnie Sullivan, Charlene, Gary, Craig, Chandler and family; many other nieces, nephews and friends; special people in her life, Mike Chandler and his children Kristen and Amanda Chandler; Diana Smith who will always be in her heart; also Donnie Campbell and Mary Eveleth and husband Art; and the special ladies at Narraguagus Estates who were all very close and gave great friendship to June. June drove school buses in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire for many years and waitressed as a young girl. She loved to crochet, rug braid and loved to visit and help her special neighbors and friends over the years. Her favorite place to eat was China Hill and favorite saying was “3 seats”. Recently Facebook became her favorite hobby where she kept up on all the happenings and talk to friends and family. She will be sadly missed and loved by all. Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care she received.
