Obituary of Victoria S. Latella

VICTORIA S. LATELLA, 50, passed away on July 21, 2010. She was born on June 23, 1960, the daughter of Phillip Latella Jr. and Jeanette Latella. She is survived by two sons, Jarrod T. Boyce, 28, and Daniel J. Boyce, 25, his wife Amanda Boyce; her brothers, Phillip Latella III and Vincent Latella and their wives, Audrey Latella and Liane Latella. She attended local schools and graduated from Morse High School in 1978. She lived in Maine for most of her life in the towns of Houlton, Wiscasset and Brunswick primarily. She was married in 1980. She was a devoted mother, always generous with her time and energy in the raising of her children. Victoria was a medical underwriter for Health Dialogue and worked for Bayer Pharmaceutical as a medical writing coordinator as well. She also spent a lot of time and enjoyed working as a child advocate for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She was an avid reader and did a considerable amount of traveling, both for leisure and in the performance of her duties, while at the same time furthering her education through the University of Southern Maine and the University of Phoenix. She has been serving faithfully as a member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses since her baptism at 14 years old on June 30, 1974. A memorial for friends and family will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 22 Water Street, Brunswick, ME with a bereavement gathering to follow.
