Obituary of Martin Monty Taplin

Martin ( Monty) Taplin, 47, died unexpectedly at his home on July 31, 2010. He was born December 15, 1963 in Portland, Maine, son of Theodore N. And Mary ( Harris) Taplin. An avid fisherman and lobster tender, Monty grew up in Pemaquid and attended local schools. He is survived by his brother Ronald Taplin of Newburgh, Me, his sister-in -law Joyce Taplin of Pemaquid; also his very close friends and extended family. Monty was pre-deceased by his parents and brother Frank Taplin. At Monty's request, there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
