Obituary of Geneva Wingate

Unity, Geneva A. Wingate, 88, died August 22, 2010 at a Waterville nursing home. She was born May 18, 1922 in Unity, the daughter or Carl and Gertrude (Libby) Goodwin. She worked for several years as a waitress and a cook. She liked knitting and crocheting. She particularly loved her family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents and her husband. Survived by 3 children; Carleen Berthiaume of Zephyr Hills FL, D. Diane Corey of Texas, Peggy Turner of Unity, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Special friends; Pam Niles and Alnetta LeVesque. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, arrangements are under the care of Crabiel Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, ME.
