LOIS F. JOHNSON, 88, passed away September 13, 2010 in Belfast. He was born in Charleston, Maine on December 30, 1921, the daughter of Vernon and Ethel (Clough) Patten. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, past member of The White Shrine and member of Primrose Chapter #152 in Belfast. She was a graduate of Higgins Classical Institute in Charleston and was a partner and bookkeeper in her husband’s business, Johnson’s Auto Body Shop for 61 years. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter-in-law Linda Johnson and sister Marion Lawrence. Lois is survived by her husband of 70 years, Joseph M. Johnson; her children Janett J. Sims and husband David of Randolph, ME, Joseph Merle Johnson of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, Stephen L. Sims, Las Vegas, NV, Shelley S. Belouski, Camarillo, CA, Donald Johnson, North Carolina, Scott Johnson, Greenbackville, VA; great-grandchildren, Michaela and Rebecca Sims, Olivia and Joseph Johnson, Trinity Johnson; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Tall Pines and announced at a later date. Those who wish may make donations in Lois’ memory to National Alzheimers Association, 225 No. Michigan Avenue, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633. Arrangements under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
