ELAINE F. SOLOMON, 76 of Searsport, passed away September 23, 2010 in Belfast. She was born in Brunswick on May 13, 1934, the daughter of Charles and Florence Cobb. Elaine enjoyed dancing, playing Scrabble and sing-alongs. She loved her babies, cooking and grocery shopping for her family. She enjoyed going out to eat and her work in the hotel industry. She also had a kind heart towards people and loved caring for pets and animals. She was predeceased by both parents and her husband John; two brothers, Eddie Daggett and Richard Daggett. Survivors include her children, John Solomon of Fountain Hills, Arizona and Michael Solomon of Hallandale, Florida; her siblings, Carol Ashey and husband Ron of Searsport, Jean Moulton of Connecticut, William Daggett Jr. of Belfast and Shayne Daggett of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. She will miss her good friend, Joan Walker of Searsport. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 2nd at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
