MARY E. JEWETT, 55, passed away September 28, 2010 at her residence in Liberty. She was born September 16, 1955 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Frances (Noseworthy) Ballard. She worked as an LPN for many years. She loved nursing and caring for others. She enjoyed cooking, life in general, loved her family and was very proud of her girls. She will also be remembered as a person who loves animals. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Steven A. Jewett of Liberty; her two daughters Bethany Jewett of Liberty and Nicole Jewett of Wells; three brothers, Paul Ballard of Nevada, Donald Ballard of New York, and Tom Ballard of Morrill; two sisters, Kim Ballard of Gorham and Barbie Dudra of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the Palermo Christian Church on Saturday, October 9th at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ed Hatch officiating.
