Obituary of Geraldine Pottle

Geraldine “Gerry” M. Pottle, 81, of Perry passed away October 12, 2010 at a nursing facility in Eastport. She was born September 11, 1929 in Hartford, Ct. a daughter of the late Ansley and Minola (Glidden) Pottle. Gerry married Richard Pottle on February 14, 1948 and together they raised three sons. Over the years Gerry worked at many jobs, including local fish factories and local wreath factory where she was known for her speed performing piece work. In 1977 Gerry went back to school to be a Beautician and worked in her own shop, “Gerry’s Family Hair Styles” until her retirement. Gerry had many loves throughout her life, but most of all her love for the Lord. Gerry was predeceased by her husband Richard in 1995, and her brother Charles Poole. She is survived by her three children: Richard “Scotty” Pottle, Vaughn Pottle and Mason Pottle, all of Perry; as well as 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
