JOY LYNN MARTIN, 53 of Vassalboro, passed away October 28, 2010 at Togus. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on May 21, 1957, the daughter of Linwood and Joyce (Teeney) Crosby. Joy Lynn was a U.S. Army veteran who enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors. She also enjoyed photography, reading, playing cards and was a self-taught drum player. She liked lighthouses, working on her computer and going out to eat. She always remembered family and friends with Christmas and birthday cards. Joy Lynn loved being a mom and loved her grandkids. She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband of almost 25 years, Lionel Martin of Vassalboro; her children Michelle Martin and significant other Zachary Littlefield of Waldo, Rachel Martin and significant other Christopher Miquelon of Augusta; brother Christopher Crosby and wife Carla of Florida; grandchildren, Zachary Jr., Damarion, Kaydence and Zaybreon; three nephews and one niece. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, November 5th at Brooks Bible Church with Pastor Brian Thompson officiating.
