VIRGIL D. PENDLETON SR., 75, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the first-born son of Lester and Laura (Hall) Pendleton. He is predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Estelle “Pat” Fern (Gray) Pendleton; two sons, Virgil D. Pendleton and wife Melody, Clifford J. Pendleton and wife Angie; two daughters, Debra L. Pendleton and Ruthe P. Gray; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Virginia Dyer, Daniel Pendleton, Kenneth Pendleton, Clifford Pendleton, Wayne Pendleton, Warren Pendleton, Loretta Frontin, Jerry Pendleton, Lucinda Carpentier, Lyndon Pendleton and their families. A man of many hobbies and talents, including his trophy moose, hunting, fishing and gardening. He always included family and friends in his assorted adventures. His kind heart, sense of humor and helping hand will be missed by all who knew him. Ah hell, I’m alright! A celebration of Virgil’s life will be held 12 noon Saturday, November 6th at Ruthe’s home.
