David C. Philbrook, 65, of Belfast, died unexpectedly on Jan. 8, 2011 at his home in Fairfield. He enjoyed playing music with his brother, Richard Philbrook, in the Frye Mountain Band and also with his friend Timmy Farrell. He is survived by the love of his life, Molly White; three children, Brenda, Bonnie, and Paul; several grandchildren; brothers Edward and wife Marie, Richard and companion Evelyn, Carl and wife Irene; sisters Loretta and husband Raymond, Susan and husband David; Rebecca and husband Jeff; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Alva; mother, Margaret; brother Alva Jr.; sister Evelyn; and brother James. A celebration of life was held at the Northport Grange on Jan. 10, 2011.
