NANCY J. ROSS, 59, passed away after a courageous battle with lymphoma at her residence in New Vineyard February 4, 2011. She was born in Farmington August 23, 1951, daughter of Howard and M. Louise Pinkham. She worked as a personal care assistant at Helping Hands for three years and at Northland Cash. She enjoyed bingo, shopping and family get-togethers and collected teddy bears. Nancy liked taking vacation trips with the family. She was known for her good cooking, especially her biscuits. She never had a day without a smile and will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by both parents; her husband Stanley Ross; sisters Fran Harding and Gloria Pinkham; step-son Dale Ross. Survivors include her children Tina Ross of New Vineyard, her step-children, John Ross of Alabama, Robert Ross and Bonnie Allen both of Wilton; sisters, Elaine Haines of Avon, Janice Washington and husband Tubby of Rangeley, Marie McCarthy and husband Wayne of New Sharon; several step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as friends, Pat, Cecile and Crystal Lowell, “three hoodlums” Craig Haines, Matthew Ross and Ethan Ross. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday February 13th at New Vineyard Community Building. Those who would like to assist the family in the final costs may contact Marie at 207-778-3164.
