MARY ANN MORTON, 83, died February 11, 2011 at her home in Belmont after an extended illness. Mrs. Morton was born September 23, 1927 in Westport, Connecticut to Grace and Frederick Hager. She graduated from St. Agnes High School, Albany, NY and the Christina School, Cooperstown, NY. She worked as a nurse for a number of years. After retirement, she spent summers in Maine and winters in Florida. She served as past President of the American Legion Auxillary, Lake Worth #47. Mary Ann is survived by her three sons, Frederick “Jay” Bryant and wife Cate, Gilbert Bryant and Russell Bryant; three grandchildren, Jason Bryant, Kristy Reese and Ashley Reynolds; two great-grandchildren, Jason Bryant II and Hope Reynolds. She will especially be missed by her close friend, Eddie Banks and family. Services will be held in the spring. Those who wish may make donations in Mary Ann’s memory to Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County, PO Box 772, Belfast, ME 04915.
