Linwood L Lear, 91 died February 21st, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born March 28th, 1919 in Northport, ME. The son of Ervin and Mattie (Proctor) Lear. He was a US Army WWII Veteran, and was a service technician for 10 years for consumers fuel of Belfast, and 17 years with Frost and Wilkins. He loved the outdoors, gardening and mowing with his tractor. He was predeceased by his first wife Evelyn, a son Robert, 8 brothers, and 6 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Roberta Lear of Unity, two children, Richard Lear of Florida, and Linda Sherrard of Unity, 7 grand children and 12 great-grand children. Private services will be at the convenience of the family, spring interment will be at the Grove Cemetery in Belfast.
