Obituary of Eugene T. Lynch

PRESQUE ISLE - Eugene T. Lynch, 82, died June 11, 2011, at Mars Hill Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Easton, son of Edward and Hilda (Williams) Lynch. He retired from the University of Maine at Presque Isle after 25 years of service in 1994. Gene was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Presque Isle. He was predeceased by brothers, Clement and Clarence; and sister, Mary Ferland. He is survived by his wife, Florence of Presque Isle; six daughters, Karin and Brad of Weatherby Lake, Mo., Cynthia Coffman, Christine Clukey, Carla Lindsay and Walt of Overland Park, Kan., Debra and Scott Niebel of Delray Beach, Fla., and Carina Lynch of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Christopher Walton, Matthew Lindsey, Allison Pearson of Overland Park, Kan., and Morgan and Olivia Meyer of Weatherby Lake, Mo.; brother, Lawrence and Mona; and sister, Edwina and Richard of Fort Fairfield. Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Presque Isle, with Mass celebrated 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to American Diabetes Association , P.O.
