ALFRED O. ANDERSON, 83, died June 16, 2011 at his son’s residence in Palermo. He was born in North Dakota May 18, 1928. He worked for 30 years as a rocket scientist for the Federal government, his main job being all mathematical equations that “made it all go”. He was a long-standing member of MENSA. He donated his time to many of the area elderly assisting them their tax preparation. He enjoyed keeping up with things by continuing his education. He is survived by his son, Ronald Townsley of Palermo and his grandson Isaiah Townsley; also a sister. A celebration of Alfred’s life will be held at his home on Banton Road in Palermo on June 26th at 12:30 p.m. with a fellowship to follow.
