ESTHER E. DUDLEY, 78, died June 19, 2011 at her residence in Searsport surrounded by her family. She was born October 27, 1932 on Long Island, New York, the daughter of Wallace and Gertrude (LaTourette) Kimall. She worked for 57 years for Penobscot Frozen Foods, starting in the general laborer position and retiring in a supervisory capacity. She loved her family first, gatherings, family time and baking pies. She not only baked pies for her family but also for local restaurants. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, clamming. She also enjoyed nature and going for rides with whomever would take her. It didn’t matter where, she just liked seeing the sights. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, George, Wallace, Clement, Jean and Eileen. Esther is survived by three children, Dixie Jones and her husband Robert of Bar Harbor, Dana Chuprevich of Searsport, Joel Dudley and wife Kelly of Bangor; five grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Sanders, Karen Dodd, Benjamin and Spencer Dudley; four great-grandchildren. A celebration of life fellowship will be held at her home on Mt. Ephraim Road in Searsport on Sunday, June 26th at 12 noon.
