Obituary of Norma Kessel Wieman

Norma K. Wieman, 85 , died at her residence surrounded by her family 7/16/11. She was born in Manila Philippines 4/1/1926, the daughter of Albert & Ascension Kessel. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved raising her family. Norma was a great cook and enjoyed preparing authentic Filipino cuisine for her children. Norma passed these recipes on to her children who all inherited her love of cooking. She also enjoyed dining out wanting to experience different culture foods or just down-home mom and pop restaurants. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She was pre deceased by her husband of 41 years William in 1989. Survivors include her children: Mary Ann Wieman Bryant of Belfast; Norma Leigh Wieman of Northport; William R. Wieman of NY; Sandra Lynn Wieman-Michelitch of NY; Tony Wieman and Susan Cay Wieman both of Northport; Patricia Lorraine Wieman of MA; Laura Anne Wieman-Daniel of VA; several brothers and sisters; nieces & nephews; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast.
