Ruth Foster Farrell, 89, died peacefully on July 18, 2011. Ruth, the daughter of Oscar B. (Farr) Foster and Lucy Moffett Foster, was born on July 7, 1922. She married her childhood sweetheart, Captain James W. Farrell, on Sept. 30, 1942.
