Obituary of Rita H. Salatka

Rita H. Salatka(Sawickas), 75 of Northport, passed away on August 13, 2011. Rita was born in Worcester, MA on July 21, 1936. She was a loving homemaker raising her four children and family. In her early years she worked with a greeting card company in Worcester, MA. She loved going on trips with Joe, and bowled all of her life. She enjoyed fishing and fellowshipping with friends. She enjoyed everyone and will be remembered always for having a smile. She loved her cats. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe of Northport; her children, Linda Marcascino of Massachusetts, Susan West of Massachusetts, Joseph Jr. of Peru, Maine, Donna Salatka of Northport, Maine; her brother and sister, Dennis Kelleher of Montana, and Catherine Anderson of Florida; and her five grandchildren. Private services are being held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are being handled under the care of Riposta Funeral Home182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast, Maine.
