A. WAYNE BRYER, 76 of Hancock, passed away September 25, 2011 at Bangor. He was born December 30, 1934 in Lyman to Arthur and Theresa (Tilton) Bryer. He was a US Army veteran and owner of Bryer’s Restaurant in Hampden. He enjoyed any children’s activities and was involved in the Hampden Children’s Day each year. Wayne is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruthann Bryer; two children Kelly Bryer, Kevin Bryer and his wife Heidi; siblings James Maddocks, Sandra Mitchell, Brenda Bennett, Donna Wilson, Sharon Cominski, Sherylle Welch; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Hampden on October 8th at 1 p.m. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, Belfast.
