Beverly A. Ryan, 78, of Montville died Nov.26th at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Richmond, ME June 4, 1933, the daughter of Vinton and Leona (Small) McKenna. She was an avid quilter and knitter: a strong supporter of the fire department; Beverly attended the Catholic church most of her life until her health didn’t allow for it in her recent years; She enjoyed people & her years as a bartender; Her Grandchildren were the love of her life, she adored them. She was pre deceased by her 1st husband Harold Nix in 1974 and her 2nd husband John Ryan in 1996 also 2 sons: Bruce Nix in 1955 and Bruce Nix II in 1975; 7 brothers and sisters Judy Dearborn, Sue Ellen Moody, Kenneth, Roland , Lawrence, Robert, Stephen all McKenna; Survivors include her children: Karen & John York of Montville; Vickie & Luke Dorney of NY; Mark Nix and his significant other Tina Heath of NY; Tim Ryan of MA; Terry Ryan of NH; Maureen & Byron Lyon of NY; Marjorie & Bill Bright of NY; Colleen & Ed Bannan of NY; Richard and Debbie Ryan of NY and Michael & Joani Ryan of NY; Brothers Rodney and Harold McKenna; and sister Corinne Beckwith; numerous grandchildren several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
