Obituary of Danny W. Reynolds

Danny W. Reynolds, 56, passed away December 26, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. He was born April 13, 1955 in Machias, son of Alton and Hazel (Davis) Reynolds. He was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and graduated from Machias Memorial High School in 1973. He held many jobs in his life, including working for the Town of Jonesboro and spent over 20 years as motor route carrier for Bangor Daily News. Danny had a great work ethic, enjoyed his home and his family, and his greatest joy was “Gramp’s Girl”, Lola Hazel. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He leaves his wife of 36 years Ellen (Wood) Reynolds, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Gary Smith, his son, Benjamin Reynolds, his granddaughter Lola Hazel Smith all of Machiasport, his brother Michael Reynolds, his sister Sheila and her husband John Mallar, his sister-in-law Jeanne and Randy Day of Jonesboro, his brother-in-law David Wood, his mother and father-in-law Gerald and Judy Wood all of Machiasport, and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, and a brother, Mitchell Reynolds. A service of remembrance will be held at Forest Hill cemetery in Jonesboro to be announced at a later date.
