FAIRFIELD -- Anthony J. "Tony" Pooler, 74, of Fairfield, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was born June 18, 1937, in Waterville, the son of the late Etra and Joseph Pooler. He was educated in the local schools and graduated from Waterville High School in 1956. He was predeceased by his wife, Julie, who died in 2000. He is survived by his 10 children, Susan Sevey and husband Howard of Skowhegan, Kathleen Turner and husband Jack of Sidney, Sandra Cadorette and husband David of Saco, Erica Currie and husband Rick of South China, Kristen Burwood and husband Chad of Newport, Jeffrey Pooler of Old Orchard, Dana Pooler and wife Laura of New York, Mike Pooler and wife Louise of Belgrade, Craig Pooler of Belgrade and Bruce Pooler of New Hampshire; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and dear friend Brenda Deady of Oakland. A graveside service will be held later in the spring
