Pittston - James R. “Jim” Hardman, 37, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2012 in Lewiston. He was born December 17, 1974 in Damariscotta, Maine the son of David and Judith (Wheeler) Hardman, Sr. Jim was a 1993 graduate of Wiscasset High School. He was employed as a welder at Bath Iron Works and twice traveled to Hawaii for his job. Jim enjoyed motorcycling and working around his home and in his vegetable and flower gardens. He was known for being a perfectionist. He will be remembered especially for his practical jokes and sense of humor. He loved his family and playing with the kids and was just a big kid at heart. Jim would help people with any project. He liked fast cars, both old and new. He enjoyed all forms of flight, whether it was a small plane or large airliner. He loved decorating for the holidays with lots of bright lights, especially at Christmas and Halloween. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife Raquel Lee of Pittston; two daughters, Abigail Lee and Isabella Hardman and one son, Conner Hardman, all of Pittston; his parents of Alna; two brothers; David Hardman Jr. and his wife Tammy of Whitefield and John Hardman and his wife Bonnie of Alna; one sister, Lisa Hardman of Alna and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday April 21 at 2:00 PM at the Wiscassett Church of the Nazerine, 255 Gardner Rd, Wiscassett.
