Please share a memory of Rebecca to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
REBECCA ANN PARKER, 50 of Monroe. Becky almost made it to her 31st anniversary of her 20th birthday. Born April 18, 1961, she has left this life and has joined her mother and father, Joyce and Walter Parker, on April 4, 2012 to begin her next journey. Becky was the Jill of all trades. Early on she could be seen working at Mom and Pop's store in Swanville, waking up at the wee hours to "make the doughnuts" at Weaver's Bakery. At Lane's Granite, curbing across the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Bangor. Lastly she was the talent, using her creative ability creating pottery for Monroe Saltworks as well as being known as the "dump diva" at the Monroe Transfer Station. Highlights of Becky's life included attending three Rolling Stones concerts, traveling across the country and visiting Yellowstone National Park and purchasing land on which she designed and helped build her home which she filled with her Rolling Stones memorabilia. Becky enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her. She leaves behind a very spoiled cat Slinkey; her loving sister and brother in law, Barbara and Daniel Dolloff; her nieces Kaitlyn and Sarah and nephew Mark; her beloved aunt and uncle and "big sister", Bonnie and Mike Wellman along with cousins Laurie and Sal Clouse, Michael K. and Meagan Wellman and Joshua and Tracy Wellman; her aunts Janette Leighton and Elizabeth Robinson; cousins Buffy, Lloyd, Beth, Tracy, Marrah, Misti and Makalya, special and dear friends Lisa, Marjorie, Linda and Jim Dandy, and many more. Release of her ashes back to Mother Nature will take place at Hadley Point, Bar Harbor, this summer. Arrangements under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. On-line condolences may be offered to the family at www.ripostafh.com.
