Obituary of Jean M.F. Ross

Jean Munro Ferris Ross, 85, died peacefully at her home on August 3, 2012 with her beloved Grand-daughter, Jillian Jones and loving friends, Mary and Cathy, at her side. She was born April 1, 1927 the Daughter of William and Janet Ferris. She married Colin T. Ross on January 25, 1947. She and Colin moved to Troy in 1951, where she cherished her life as a wife and mother. She is predeceased by her husband, Colin T. Ross; a daughter, Dawn Williams, and a brother, Robert Ferris. She is survived by her son, Glenn Ross and his wife Christine of Exeter; daughter, Alison McCormick of Michigan; son, James Ross and his wife Patricia of Cornville; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, ME. At Jean’s request there will be no visit hours. Graveside services will be held a later date.
