Obituary of Solomon William Taliaferro

Solomon William Taliaferro, of Troy, Maine made his transition on August 29th at Inland Hospital in Waterville, Maine, following complications from pneumonia, compounded by a traumatic brain injury sustained six years ago in a car accident. He was 28 years old. Sol graduated from Mt View High School in 2004. He was a carpenter by trade, kitchen chef and a Transformational Breath facilitator. Sol enjoyed life and loved soccer, drumming and playing with his 11 nieces and nephews. Sol is remembered for his positive attitude and his enthusiasm for whatever he was doing. Sol is survived by his Dad, Paul Taliaferro of Troy, Maine; his Mother, Judith Kravitz of Tilton, New Hampshire; six sisters, Domani Osborne, Christina McCoy, Madana Casini, Rebeca Black, Melesa Black, and Tara Black; and four brothers, Joshua Osborne, Paul Taliaferro, Peter Taliaferro and Abraham Taliaferro. Services and a celebration of Sol’s life will be held at The Wentworth Center, Route 1, Belfast, on September 30, 2012 at 1pm. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
