Obituary of Elizabeth W. Evans

Elizabeth W. Evans, 88, of Jackson, passed away Jan. 17, 2013, at Penobscot Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Nora Evans,of Jackson and her friend Don Eastman of Monroe. She graduated from Brooks High School. She also was a longtime member of the Star of Progress Grange. She knitted and crocheted and loved talking on the telephone to her neighbors. She will be missed by her good friend and neighbor Marlene Thompson and family.
