JAMES F. TRAFTON, 74, passed away peacefully February 27, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born July 31, 1938 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, a son of Harold and Vera Trafton. Jim grew up in East Corinth where he enjoyed working with his family on their farm. He graduated from East Corinth Academy in 1957 where he was an All-State basketball player. After high school, he went to work for Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. for 36 years retiring in 1994. He was predeceased by his sister, Katherine and his brother Howard. Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marylin; his sister Barbara; four children - daughter, Debbie Soule and husband Ed of Enfield, ME; sons, Hal Trafton and wife Patty, Tim Trafton and wife Cindy, all of Danbury, CT, Andy Trafton of Portland, ME; grandchildren, Shannon and Jason, Kelly, James and Jessica, Connor and Morgan, as well as other family, friends and neighbors.
