Carmel, Maine- Ronald L. Carr, age 74 of Carmel, Maine passed away Friday, May 17th, 2013. He was born Feb. 17th,1939, in Sandwich, IL. Ron is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dixie; sons, Jeffrey of Windham, ME, Brian(Julie) of New Richmond, and Bradley(Rachel) of Laramie, WY; four grandchildren, Austin, Matthew, Anna, and Sarah; brother, Richard(Lynn) of Houston, MN, and sister, Sheryl(Bob) Cook of Cedar Rapids, IA. After retiring from the dairy industry in 2004, Ron and Dixie fulfilled their dream of exploring Alaska. Donations may be made in Ron’s name to The American Cancer Society.
