Kenneth Ira Durgin, 75 Scarborough – Kenneth Ira Durgin, beloved husband of Gloria Harmon Durgin, loving father of Kevin Durgin and his wife Renee and much-loved grandson Kyle David Durgin passed peacefully on June 2, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. Ken was a well known carpenter/builder in and around Scarborough his entire life. He was predeceased by his parents Ira Elmore and Edith Cook Durgin and 3 siblings Marjorie Goodrich, Alan Durgin and Kathleen Pearson. He is survived by 3 sisters, Louise Durgin, Scarborough, Nancy Blaisdell and her husband Paul, So. Portland and Janice Purington and her husband Sam, Buckland, MA and several nieces and nephews. Following Ken’s wishes arrangements are private. If planning an expression of sympathy, Renee will be participating in the Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for A Cure Triathlon this July.
