After dealing valiantly with pancreatic cancer, Gregory M Bokor died peacefully at his home in Cape Elizabeth, Maine on June 2, 2013. Born in Washington DC on October 8, l968 to George and Birgit Bokor, Greg earned a BA in Biology from Hood College in 1995 and subsequently researched terrapins in Cromona. After working as a carpenter for his brother, George, Greg made a career in the DC area as project manager in high-end construction. Greg married Maggie Hickman in Edgewater, MD on July 27, 2003. They moved to Cape Elizabeth in 2007, where Greg continued his profession as owner of Matrix Construction. Greg accepted a new position with Red Phoenix construction just months before being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Greg leaves his deeply beloved wife, Maggie, and dog, Sam. Survivors also include his father, George Bokor of Clarksburg, MD; sister Solveig Locke of Middletown, MD: brother George Bokor and his wife Sherri of Boyds, MD; in addition to nieces and nephews Lauren Bokor; Hannah, Nick, Andrew and Jamie Locke. Services will be conducted at some time in the future.
