Helen Louise Dumais (Lumbert) died unexpectedly at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast, ME on July 21, 2013. Helen was a “Native Cape Codder” born May 6, 1930 to Winifred & Hilda Lumbert of Falmouth, MA. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Winifred and Herbert Lumbert. Helen will be missed by her husband of 43 years, Charles Dumais of Searsport, ME , her daughters Deborah Thomas of Provincetown, MA, Cheryl Wilder of Searsport, ME, Rebecca Ryan of Harwich, MA and her son Douglas Perdue of West Springfield, MA along with 11 grand children, 8 great grand children, her brother, Theodore Lumbert of Hudson, MA, sisters, Barbara Towers of Falmouth, MA and Linda Corbesiero of Ocala, Fla.. Helen was an avid and devoted Patriots fan, loved traveling, bingo and cherished her “grand dog”, Kazoo. She was known for her fabulous cooking , creative home making and wearing her bling!
