Obituary of Frederick F. Pendleton II

Please share a memory of Frederick to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frederick F. Pendleton II of Wiscasset passed away on the 28th of July, 2013. He is survived by his daughter Nicole Walsh, sons Barry and Steve, granddaughters Nina and Stephanie, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fred was the town grocer and butcher of Pendleton's Market in Wiscasset for 30 years. His warm heart, respect for others and caring nature made him a loved member of his community. He was a former member of the Wiscasset Yacht Club, a member of the Wiscasset Fire Society and a Mason. During his 86 years, his passions and accomplishments were family, community, sailing, gardening, woodworking, swimming, cooking, a pianist, and he was an award-winning artist. People in need never had a chance to ask for help as he was already there helping. He will be missed dearly. With his departure, he joins his one true love, his wife Althea of 54 years. While no service has been planned per request of Frederick, anyone wishing to share memories may send them to P.O. Box 7824 Portland ME 04112. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lincoln Animal Shelter. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
