HAROLD EUGENE LEATHERS SR. “Sonny”, was born in July 15, 1946. He died October 17, 2013 in Belfast. He married Cindy (Flagg) Leathers on December 23, 1967. He was preceded in death by both parents, Henry Harold Leathers and Lydia Mae Frances (Hall) Leathers. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cindy; his sisters Leona Pearl Perkins, Florance Ruby Curtis, Verna Martha Pinkerton; his sons, Hal Leathers and Jamie, Hank Leathers and Sue; eight grandchildren, Sarah Leathers, Corey Leathers, Hal Leathers, Katie Day, Brittany Bragdon, Dustyn Bragdon, Ashley Dodd and Nikki Totman; four great-grandchildren Bryan Totman, Richard Wentworth, Kaylee Leathers, Levi Sullivan; two more great-grandchildren on the way. He worked as a dozer operator for the City of Belfast for many years. He loved watching history movies and crime dramas, working with his hands and raising hell with the grandkids. Graveside services will be held at Grove Cemetery on Friday, October 25th at 3 p.m. Arrangements under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
