Obituary of Catherine Ester DeSimone

CATHERINE ESTER DESIMONE, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11, 2013 at a Searsport health care facility. She was born August 9, 1926 in Camden, Maine, one of eight children of Aubrey and Elsie (Heald) Collemer. Catherine attended school in Lincolnville and Camden, then moved to New York. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Desimone. She was also predeceased by five siblings, Elinor Collemer Johnson, Lawrence Collemer, Norman Collemer, Nathan Collelmer and Reginald Collemer. She is survived by her brother, Ramon Collemer and wife Margaret of Lincolnville and sister Marylyn Boyce and husband Reynold of Vermont. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Bayview Boarding Home for the wonderful care provided. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Camden in the spring. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
